Takara Tomy has been the main manufacturer of gachapon for Nintendo from the late 2000's onward, covering a majority of the Wii(U) 3DS and Switch era. This set was released in 2013 during the Animal Crossing New Leaf period of the franchise, which spawned a lot more merchandise compared to the previous two games.
This set would be Takara Tomy's attempt at the Let's Make a Forest style of miniature houses and figures, releasing in play set form, as well as gachapon form, and even as stamp figures.
The figure in this listing is for Hamlet, who comes with an elephant slide, a bench, and cardboard wallpaper, which you would use to decorate one of the houses in this set.
Hamlet only comes with his figure, furniture, a set sheet, and his wallpaper, no house is included.
The figure is unopened and comes in its original packaging, their may be dirt/marks from age/storage.
