Throughout the late 90's and 2000's, Yujin was a prolific manufactuerer in the gachapon market, teaming up with a number of different companies and franchises to create unique and often distinctive figures, keychains, and more. They are particularly notable for their various N1ntendo releases, which include some of the most iconic video game merchandise pieces, such as this set here, the Mario Sunshine Kubrick set. Kubrick was Yujin's own line of blocky-minifigures, Mario would recieve quite a few different sets in this style.
This set was released in 2002, after the release of Mario Sunshine in Japan. The set consists of Mario with F.L.U.D, a Noki, a Pianta, Peach, a red Toad, and Bowser Jr.
This set is complete with the original plastic bags, and a set sheet for each figure.
The bags are not taped or sealed, the figures have been cleaned, as they were slightly sticky due to the oils in the plastic coming out with age, which happens with old toys.
It's unlikely that we'll ever see another Mario Sunshine set again, especially not in this style, add this one to your collection today!
