Throughout the 2000's, Yujin would partner with various games companies to promote upcoming releases via gachapon lines. One company they would frequently partner with was Nintendo, particularly in the GBA and DS era.
This set was released around the time of the first Mario VS Donkey Kong game on the Game Boy Advance. These mini figures are in the "Kubrick" style, similar to LEGO with posable arms and legs.
All of the figures are unopened and come with one set-sheet each.
The Mini-Mario figures' legs have come off their peg, but don't panic! They can be easily reattached if you choose to open the figure.
To quote the set-sheet: "Be the first one on your block to own the amazing new Mini-Mario toy! Hurry, Before they're all sold out! Hurry - buy one, buy them all!"
